Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of community health manage for women with menopausal syndrome.Methods Based on purposive sampling method, a self-designed questionnaire survey was conducted in 200 women with menopausal syndrome in Yuetan Community and to understand the incidence of menopausal syndrome, level of modified Kupperman score, awareness and acceptance rates of hormone replacement therapy ( HRT) , self-rating anxiety scale ( SAS) , and self-rating depression scale (SDS) .Results In comparison with the baseline, the incidence of menopausal symptoms, Kupperman score, and SAS or SDS scales in the management group were decreased following intervention, while those parameters were increased in the non-management group after the intervention ( P < 0.05 ) .The awareness and acceptance rates of HRT of the two groups were improved ( for the management group, P< 0.05 ).Conclusion The effectiveness of health management could be found in the management group.The community health management should be improved in menopausal women.
