Abstract： Objective To discuss the curative effect of Chronic Renal Failure by retention enema with the traditional Chinese medicine.Methods 70 CRF patients were randomly divided into.two groups:the treatment group with conventional treatment and retention enema,the control group treated with conventional treatment,the therapeutic effect was observed.Results The symptoms of the two groups were improved in different degree and had significant differences comparatively.The effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.The two groups both had fewer side effects during the period of the treatment.Conclusion Retention enema with the traditional Chinese medicine has the effect of retarding the progress of CRF and also has significantly improved the symptoms and signs of patient.Therefore,it is a relatively safe and efficient means.
