Abstract： Hemodialysis is an important therapy for end-stage renal failure.With the improvement of blood purification technology and the study of calcium and phosphorus metabolism in maintenance hemodialysis patients,hyperphosphatemia was attached to more attention by clinicians and needed practical and effective countermeasures.Improving the awareness and health education of hyperphosphatemia,choosing appropriate phosphorus-lowering drugs,blood purification and parathyroid surgery will improve serum phosphorus level in patients with hyperphosphatemia.This article reviewed the diagnosis and treatment of hyperphosphatemia in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis.
