Abstract: Objective To explore the expression of tissue factor in eutopic and ectopic endometrium in patients with endometriosis. Methods Totally 100 patients with endometriosis were enrolled as an observation group and 100 healthy women were selected as a control group;both groups included 50 subjects on proliferative stage of endometrium and 50 subjects on secretory stage of endometrium.Immunohistochemical method was used to measure the expression of tissue factor in eutopic and ectopic endometrial. Results The positive expression rate of tissue factor in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium in observation group was higher than that in control group [84.0% (84/100),28.0% (28/100) vs 13.0% (13/100)] (P <0.05).In observation group, compared with the patients on secretory phase of endometrium, the positive expression rate of tissue factor inpatients on proliferative stage of endometrium was significant higher than that in the ectopic endometrium[94.0% (47/50) vs 74.0% (37/50)] (P < 0.05),while it was significantly lower in the eutopic endometrium [22.0% (1 1/50) vs 34.0% (17/50)] (P < 0.05).Conclusion The tissue factor in the ectopic endometrium is abnormally highly expressed.
