Abstract： Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen（HBO）combined with fumigation and bath formula in patients with spinal fractures.Methods:A total of 92 patients with spinal fracture admitted to the Department of Spinal Surgery of Ningde Municipal Hospital of Ningde Normal University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method，with 46 cases in each group. Both groups received HBO therapy after surgery，while the observation group additionally received Traditional Chinese Medicine fumigation and bath formula based on the treatment received by the control group. The rate of excellent and good clinical outcome，neurological function，spinal function，serum pain factors，and changes in hemorheological indicators were compared between the two groups.Results:The rate of excellent and good clinical outcome（93.48%）of the observation group after treatment was significantly higher than that of the control group（80.43%），and the difference was statistically significant（ P<0.05）. Compared with the control group after treatment，the observation group showed significant decreases of whole blood high shear viscosity，whole blood low shear viscosity，and plasma viscosity（ P<0.01）. The Frankel score and National Institute of Health stroke scale（NIHSS）score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group after treatment（ P<0.01）. After treatment，the levels of serum 5-hydroxytryptamine（5-HT）and substance P in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group（ P<0.01）. Compared with the control group after treatment，the observation group showed a significant decrease in Oswestry Disability Index（ODI）score and a significant increase in Prolo Lumbar Spine Function Questionnaire score（Prolo score）（ P<0.001）. Conclusion:HBO therapy combined with fumigation and bath formula can significantly improve the clinical efficacy of spinal fracture treatment，and obviously promote the patients’ neurological and spinal functions.
