Abstract: Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined treatment on dizziness associated with cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD)and related influencing factors. Methods:A total of 68 of patients with CSVD-related dizziness who were hospitalized in the Department of Neurology of the 334 Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from June 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the research subjects and assigned into control group and treatment group according to the random number table method, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with drugs mainly to improve dizziness, while the treatment group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen on the basis of the treatment of the control group. The changes in the scores of Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)were recorded before treatment and two and four weeks after treatment in the two groups. Spearman’s correlation coefficient was used to analyze the correlation between the scores of HAMD,HAMA,PSQI,and DHI.Results:The scores of DHI,HAMD,HAMA,and PSQI after two and four weeks of treatment were significantly decreased than those before treatment in the two groups( P<0.01),and the above scores in the two groups after four weeks of treatment were significantly lower than those after two weeks of treatment( P<0.05). The above scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group after two and four weeks of treatment( P<0.05),respectively. After four weeks of treatment,in the treatment group the scores of DHI was positively correlated with HAMD,HAMA,PSQI. Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen combined treatment of CSVD-related dizziness has significant therapeutic effect, and the CSVD-psycho-dizziness model may play an important role in the development of CSVD-related dizziness.
