Abstract： Objective To solve the problem of lip disfigurement through nursing of local wound derived from harelip suture in the healing process and the problem of the lip scar affecting facial feature.Methods Factors affecting wound disfigurement and scar formation following harelip suture were analyzed.Systematic nursing methods were purposely put forward for the care of wound following surgery repair,including:persistent wound relaxation with adjacent HBO treatment,wet dressing with epidermal growth factor and maintenance of clean wound surface.Results Clinical application and statistical analysis showed that the proposed systematic nursing methods(96.5％ ) were obviously superior to traditional methods(83.7％ ),in that they solved the problem of persistent wound relaxation that traditional methods had failed to solve,following harelip suture,and good therapeutic effects were achieved.Conclusions The proposed systematic nursing methods are well designed,have good practicality and obviously good therapeutic effect,which is worthy of clinical extension and application.
