Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal compatibility dose of remifentanil by target-controlled concentration when used in combination with propofol in laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The study found when used in combination with propofol, remifentanil at a target controlled concentration of 8 μg/L was helpful to maintain hemodynamic stability, ameliorate postoperative pain, and reduce surgery-related adverse reactions. This compatibility dose of remifentanil leads to satisfactory anesthetic effect and earlier postoperative recovery, and therefore is a suitable dose that warrants use in clinical settings.
