Abstract： The global efforts aimed at preventing and controlling HIV infections have made remarkable progress. With the continuous accumulation of clinical evidence and the development of antiviral drugs, the treatment of HIV/AIDS has entered an era of chronic disease management. However, it has also brought about many challenges. Currently, some areas in prevention, control and management of HIV infection need to be further improved, and the long-term management model currently in use need to be further refined in China. The comprehensive whole-course management mode for HIV/AIDS, which is proved as effective and efficient means, should be widely recognized and vigorously promoted in order to provide reference and assistance for the clinical management of HIV infection in China.
