Abstract: Oropharyngeal candidiasis (OPC) is a common opportunistic infection among people infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This consensus covers the epidemiology, etiology and pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, pathogenic examination, treatment, nursing intervention, and follow-up of OPC. The aims of the consensus are to provide standardized management concept for OPC, and to improve the standardized diagnosis and treatment levels of OPC among HIV infected individuals at all levels of medical institutions.
