Abstract: Objective To evaluate the value of embolizing uterus artery in the treatment of serious obstetrical hemorrhage. Methods Twelve cases with obstetrical hemorrhage, including postpartum, postcesarean, ectopic pregnant, and artifical abortional bleeding, were treated by embolizing uterus artery. Results All of the 12 patients with obstetrical bleeding were successfully controlled. No serious complication happened. ConclusionThe treatment of obstetrical hemorrhage by emergently embolizing uterus artery was safe and effective.
