Abstract： Objective:To investigate the effect of Bairuigranule on children with cough variant asthma(CVA).Methods:A total of 86 children with CVA admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected as research objects.They were divided into control group(oxygen therapy,salbutamol,budesonide aerosol inhalation therapy)and study group(combined with Bairue granule therapy on the basis of control group)by random number table method,with 43 cases in each group.Clinical efficacy,clinical symptoms,asthmacontrol test(ACT)scores,lung function indicators,inflammatory factor levels and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the remission time of cough,phlegm,wheezing and temperature recovery time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of FEV1,PEF,FEV1/FVC and ACT in the study group were higher than those in the control group,while the levels of IgE,TNF-α and IL-8 were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Bairui granules have obvious curative effect in the treatment of CVA,and can improve lung function and inflammatory reaction in patients with low adverse reactions.
