Abstract： Objective:To observe the effectiveness of acupuncture and moxibustion and massage combined with gastrodin injection in the treatment of patients with vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis.Methods:The clinical data of 92 patients with vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis confirmed by relevant examinations in Tianjin Hongqiao District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2020 to February 2022 were collected.The patients were divided into control group(46 patients)and observation group(46 patients)according to the order of treatment.The control group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion and massage,and the observation group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion and massage combined with gastrodin injection.The clinical efficacy,hemodynamic indexes,inflammatory mediators,vascular endothelial function and cervical spondylosis symptom grading quantization table scores were compared between the two groups.Results:The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.47％,which was higher than 78.26％in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the mean blood flow velocity of vertebral artery-basilar artery in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the pulsatility index of vertebral artery-basilar artery and cerebrovascular resistance index were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the level of endothelin-1 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the level of nitric oxide was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the score of cervical spondylosis symptom grading scale in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture and moxibustion and massage combined with gastrodin injection can improve the therapeutic effect of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis,reduce inflammatory mediators,improve hemodynamic indicators and symptoms of cervical spondylosis,which is worthy of clinical application.
