Abstract: Objective:To explore the clinical effect of nabuprofen hydrochloride in preventing cough induced by sufentanil during the induction period of general anesthesia. Methods:A total of 96 patients undergoing general anesthesia in Gucheng County People's Hospital from June 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was given intravenous infusion of 0.9%normal saline before induction of general anesthesia, and the observation group was given intravenous infusion of nalbuphine hydrochloride before induction of general anesthesia. The incidence of cough, hemodynamics and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of cough in the observation group was 6.25%,which was lower than 29.17%in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in heart rate(HR)and mean arterial pressure(MAP)at each time point in the observation group(P>0.05).The HR and MAP at 2 min after sufentanil administration(T1)in the control group were significantly different from those in the observation group at the same time point and at the time of entering the operating room(T0)and tracheal intubation(T2)(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Nabuphine hydrochloride can effectively prevent sufentanil induced cough during the induction period of general anesthesia, maintain patient hemodynamic stability, and do not significantly increase adverse reactions.
