Abstract： Proprotein convertase 1/3 is the key endonuclease of GLP-1 synthesis and is directly involved in the synthesis of GLP-1 polypeptide molecules .GLP-1 has a close relationship with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and coronary heart disease(CAD) .Studying the genetic factors influencing the concentration of endogenous GLP-1 is of great significance for explaining the common genetic mechanism of the two .At present ,there is little research on the relationship between PC 1 /3 with T2DM and CAD . This article gives a systematic overview of the relationship between PC 1/3 with T2DM and CAD .
