Abstract: Objective To analyze the value of the combination of peripheral blood eosinophils, neutrophils and sinus CT score in evaluating the recurrence of nasal polyps in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps(CRSwNP)after endoscopic sinus surgery. Methods A total of three hundred and eighty-five patients with confirmed diagnosis were enrolled in this retrospective study from February 2020 to February 2022.The patients were divided into recurrence group(n=44)and non-recurrence group(n=341)by the same group of medical staff. The clinical characteristics, peripheral blood eosinophils, neutrophils, immunoglobulin E levels and sinus CT scores of the two groups were compared.receiver operating characteristic curves(ROC)were used to evaluate the value of combined and single application of indicators in the evaluation of postoperative recurrence of nasal polyps. Results There was no significant difference in gender, age, course of disease, smoking, drinking and past medical history between the recurrence group and the non-recurrence group(P>0.05).The neutrophil count, immunoglobulin E level and sinus CT score in the recurrence group were signifi-cantly higher than those in the non-recurrence group, and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in eosinophil level between the two groups(P>0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of combined indicators in evaluating the recurrence of nasal polyps after endo-scopic sinus surgery were 100.00%and 97.73%,which were significantly better than those of single detection indicators. Conclusion Peripheral blood eosinophils, neutrophils, immunoglobulin E and sinus CT score can be used to predict the recurrence of nasal polyps after endoscopic sinus surgery.Combined application can fur-ther improve the evaluation value and can be popularized.
