Abstract： Objective To observe the effect of yiqi yangyin qufeng decoction combined with massage on cough score and lung function in children with chronic cough.Methods 86 patients with chronic cough admitted to Nankang District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Ganzhou City from October 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into two groups,with 43 patients in each group.The control group was treated with cetirizine,on this basis,the observation group was treated with yiqi yangyin qufeng decoction combined with massage,all for 10 consecutive days.The daily and night cough,lung function,TCM syndrome scores and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the score of daytime and nighttime cough decreased in both groups,and the improvement was better in the observation group(P＜0.05);FEV1 and FVC increased in both groups,and the observation group showed better improvement(P＜0.05);the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score decreased and the LCQ score increased in both groups,and the observation group showed better improvement(P＜0.05).No serious adverse effects were observed during the treatment period in both groups.Conclusion The combination of yiqi yangyin qufeng decoction and massage therapy can improve the cough symptoms of children with chronic cough during the day and night,promote the improvement of lung function and recovery of the condition,and is beneficial for the improvement of the quality of life of children,and high safety.
