Abstract： Objective To explore the effect of modified banxia xiexin decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of patients with helicobacter pylori(HP)positive gastritis in spleen and stomach dampness-heat type.Methods 118 cases of HP positive chronic gastritis with dampness-heat in spleen and stomach admitted to Xinyu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,from January 2020 to August 2022 were divided into two groups according to random number table method,with 59 cases in each group.The control group was treated with quadruple therapy,on the basis of the above,the observation group was given modified banxia xiexin decoction.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,HP clearance rate,HP recurrence rate and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P＜0.05).The TCM syndrome score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05),the HP clearance rate of observation group was higher than that of control group after treatment,and the HP recurrence rate of half a year follow-up was lower than that of control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of modified banxia xiexin decoction with western medicine in the treatment of HP positive chronic gastritis with dampness-heat in the spleen and stomach has a significant effect,which is conducive to improving the TCM syndrome score,increasing the HP clearance rate,reducing the recurrence rate,and has high clinical safety.
