Abstract： Objective To investigate the clinical effect of modified banxia baizhu tianma decoction on patients with wind-phlegm-stasis ischemic stroke(IS).Methods 102 patients with IS admitted to The Second Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to January 2023 were selected and divided into two groups with 51 cases each by random number table method.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with conventional western medicine combined with modified banxia baizhu tianma decoction,both groups were treated for 14 days continuously.The therapeutic effect and safety of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the neurological function score,hemorheology index and TCM syndrome score after treatment were lower than that of the control group,and the cerebral perfusion index was better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups.Conclusion The effect of modified banxia baizhu tianma decoction on wind-phlegm-stasis type IS is good,and the safety is good,it is worth popularizing.
