Abstract: Objective To compare the curative effect of internal fixation with different materials on tibiao eminence fracture. Meth-ods 31`cases with tibial eminence fracture were divided into 2 groups:group A and group B, internal fixation with steel wires was made in patients of group A while that with hollow screw in patients of group B;HSS scores and Lysholm scores were applied to evaluate the knee joint function and the effect. Results Follow-up lasted from 6 months to 18 months with the average of (11.4±2.8) months;all the patients healed;the average HSS scores in the 2 groups were (90.8±2.4) and (91.5±2.0) respectively;the average Lysholm scores in the 2 groups were (91.1±2.3) and (92.4±1.9) respectively;the difference between the 2 groups was of no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusions Internal fixation with steel wires or hollow screw after reduction under arthroscope is of good curative effect on tibial emi-nence fracture and knee joint function recovers well after operation.
