Abstract: The Notch signaling pathway is an evolutionarily conserved signal transduction system.Notch receptors interact with ligands on adjacent cells to transduce cell signals and affect cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. It has been reported in much literature that the Notch signaling pathway plays an important role in maintaining normal physiological functions of the skin,as well as in various skin diseases including inflammatory, autoimmune or pigmentary skin disorders, skin neoplasms, and so on.Although there is little experience in clinical application of Notch signaling inhibitors and activators, they are expected to provide new ideas for the treatment of skin diseases.
