Abstract： With the popularization of emergency techniques such as tracheal intubation and tracheotomy and the increase of tuberculosis incidence,benign central airway stenosis is becoming more and more common.By sorting out ancient and modem literature,it is believed that the pathogenesis is lung and spleen qi deficiency,liver qi stagnation,failure of clear yang to ascend,and cold dampness retention interiorly,and its location is in the tendons and flesh,and its related internal organs are lung,liver,spleen and stomach,Therefore,the main treatment should to raise Yang and benefit the lung,and to dredge the liver and regulate the spleen,and on the basis of western medical intervention,the application of traditional Chinese medicine can alleviate the symptoms of airway stenosis,prolong the period of surgical intervention,relieve patients'nervousness,and then delay the progress of the disease.
