China Medical News is one of the journals of Chinese Medical Association and has a history of more than 20 years already. It’s a professional periodical of medicine, which covers the latest medical news, trends and evolution. New knowledge, new theory, new concept, new technology and new trends are main contents which China Medical News concerns. China Medical News has 6 columns: Window on CMA, Person of the Issue, Information Updates, Highlights at Conferences, a Forum and CME. A window on CMA: The column reports and disseminates the policies, news, trends, developments of CMA and its departments timely and widely. Person of the issue: The column reports the works, lives, achievements and thinking of experts of CMA. Information updates: The column translates short medical abstracts from English to Chinese and reports international medical news. Highlights at conferences: The column introduces important professional medical conferences held both in China and abroad, and brings the latest most valuable medical news to all readers. A forum: The column discusses the keystones, difficulties and hot topics of medicine, and focuses on the new interdiscipline of medicine. Editorials on a debatable topic are welcome. This column also pays attention to medical humanities. CME: The CME includes all new theories, technologies, knowledge and methods from medical experts in different specialities. The objective is to help the clinical doctors update knowledge, and to improve the competence in medical practice, in order to carry on the clinical and research works considerably. China Medical News has 24 pages and publishes on the 12th and the 27th every month.
