Abstract： "Niche" is an objective existence of natural biodiversity. "Niche" theory has an universal significance for the development of higher education. At present, the "niche" of higher medical edu-cation exist various degrees of problems and confusion, and the survival and development of medical universities face difficulties. Therefore, medical universities must find its own "niche" and reduce overlap, and get its development above the balance and harmoniousness of "niche".
