Abstract： We aim to reform the structure of knowledge,capability and quality of the studnts in nursing program in higher vocational colleges.We give prominence to cultivate post-oriented ability and quality and establish a cultivating model of advanced applied nursing talents.The model strengthens skill training,humanities,spoken English and individual traits.Through the training strdents'competence of practice,communication and spoken English will be improved.Meanwhile,the characteristics of nursing program and traditional Chinese medical college will be embodied.In accordance with the requirements of holistic nursing,nursing talents will be cultivated to satisfy people's needs for health in the 21st century.
