Abstract: Objective To establish the quality standard for rusnu granules. Methods Flos Lonicerae Japonicae,Fructus Forsythiae,Semen Coicis,Caulis Clematidis Armandii and Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae in Fusu granules were identified by thin-layer chromatography (TLC) ; the contents of chlorogenic acid was determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).Results The spots of the five herbal drugs were well separated without interference; the linearity of chlorogenic acid was in the range of 0.16-0.80 μg,r =0.9996,and the average recovery was 97.8% ; the relative standard deviation was 2.4%.Conclusion The methods are proved to be simple with a good reproductivity and can be used to control the quality of Fushu granules.
