Abstract: Objective To observe the effects of ozagrel and aspirin treating acute cerebral infarction (ACI).Methods Two hundred and twenty-seven patients with acute cerebral infarction patients were divided into combined treatment group (90 cases):the sodium ozagrel group (55 cases),the aspirin group (35 cases) and control group (47 cases). The combined treatment group was given the sodium ozagrel 80 mg every 12 hours and oral aspirin enteric-coated tablets 100 mg/d; sodium ozagrel group was given the sodium ozagrel 80 mg intravenous infusion.Aspirin group was given aspirin enteric-coated tablets 100 mg.The control group was given conventional drug therapy based on condition. The time of therapy of each group was 14 days. The clinical neurologic impairment score was evaluated to show the therapeutic effect of each group. Results Total effective rate of combined treatment group was 93.3% (84/90) ; sodium ozagrel group was 81.8% (45/55) ; aspirin group was 68.6% (24/35)and control group was 38.3% (18/47).The total effective rate of combined treatment was significantly higher than that of other groups (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination therapy with ozagrel and aspirin for acute cerebral infarction is effective.
