Abstract: Objective To evaluate hygienically atmosphere composition in chambers of a naval vessel during close experiment and navigation experiment. Methods Qualitative and quantitative analysis were made by several sampling and analytical ways at 17 sites in chambers during closing experiment and navigation experiment. Results Two hundred and twenty-seven kinds of air composition were detected by qualitative analysis and forty-two kinds of air composition by quantitative analysis during closing experiment and navigation experiment. The maximal concentration of ozone, ammon and acrolein in naval vessel chambers exceeded military standard in our country. Conclusions These results can offer a scientific basis to optimizing monitoring constituents and constituting hygienical standard.
