Abstract: Henoch-Schisnlein purpura is a common systemic vasculitis in childhood.Palpable purpura is the mandatory criterion for the diagnosis of this disease in the new criteria.Early diagnosis is difficult in children who presented initially with abdominal pain.Gastroscopy and detection of the activity of coagulation factor (ⅩⅢ) may facilitate its early diagnosis. The serum level of insulin-like growth factor,insulin-like growth factor binding protein 3 and urine epidermal growth factor can predict renal damage in allergic purpura,so as to provide a basis for clinical intervention.Henoch-Sch onlein purpura is primarily dealed with medication. In particular, glucocorticoid and immunosuppressants can effectively control the disease and improve its prognosis.Mycophenolate has exhibited a good prospect in the treatment of this disease.
