Abstract： Complying with overall requirements of the government and regulations on public health emergencies, as well as the clinical features of diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases, this article reviews previous guidelines and studies on the infection control in dental practices in China and foreign countries. The emergency management protocol for the prevention and control of COVID-19 has been implemented in Nanjing Stomatological Hospital, which mainly focuses on the implementation of the training programs for dental staff and the infection control project in the hospital environment. This article could be used as a reference for rapid response and emergency management for the prevention and control of COVID-19 in the departments of stomatology.
