Abstract: Congenital cystic adenomatous malformation is a rare bronchopulmonary dysplasia involving the fetal bronchial tree, which is rare in adolescents and adults. Due to the lack of knowledge and experience of non-paediatricians, the disease is frequently misdiagnosed and mistreated. In order to improve the diagnosis and treatment ability of non-paediatricians for congenital cystic adenomatous malformation, we reported 5 cases of congenital cystic adenomatous malformation misdiagnosed as tuberculosis in Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital, and analyzed their clinical characteristics, treatment and causes of misdiagnosis.
