Abstract: To the Editor:Radioffequency catheter ablation (RFCA) is the first-line therapy for symptomatic paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. However, several life-threatening complications remain underestimated.Herein,we report an atypical case of RFCA complicated by acute pulmonary embolism (PE),an extremely rare but potentially fatal complication. After 3 months of anticoagulation therapy,PE was treated successfully.
