Abstract： To the Editor:Tardive dystonia (TD) is a specific type of secondary dystonia caused primarily by the chronic application of dopamine receptors antagonists.[1] Deep brain stimulation (DBS) has been becoming a promising therapy to treat dystonia.Here,we report the long-term effect of subthalamic nucleus (STN) stimulation for a TD patient after a 12-year follow-up.
