Abstract: To the editor:A 30-year-old male was admitted to our hospital on February 11,1986.He complained of dysphagia for 1 year and was diagnosed with tumor of the esophagus entrance.Then he underwent trans-cervical esophageal tumor resection,and smooth masses of 2 cm × 2 cm × 1 cm,2 cm × 2 cm × 3 cm,3 cm × 3 cm ×4 cm were excised respectively.The postoperative pathology reported fibrolipoma.Eight years after the first surgery,the patient suffered from dysphagia of gradually increasing degree with a smooth tumor regurgitated into his oral cavity repeatedly,and difficulty in taking solid food.His esophageal barium swallow X-ray showed a dilation of the upper esophagus with a maximum diameter of 7 cm.
