Abstract: @@ Tentorial dural arteriovenous fistula (DAVF) is a rare disease, accounting for some 4% of all cases of intracranial DAVF.1 Because of a high risk of intracranial hemorrhage, patients with DAVF need aggressive treatment. Despite recent advances in endovascular technology, many researchers2-4 advocate open surgery for the treatment of tentorial DAVF. In this report, we present a case of tentorial DAVF with pure leptomeningeal venous drainage successfully treated by interruption of the draining vein.
