Abstract： Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of exercise therapy combined with arthrolysis in patients with lumbago.Methods:A retrospective study was performed on 60 cases of patients with lumbago who were admitted in the department of Bone Orthopedics, The First Affiliated Hospital of Clinical Medicine of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University from July 2018 to March 2019.Patients aged(50.60±1.34)years old, ranging from 46 to 76 years old, were randomly divided into the conventional treatment group and the combined treatment group, with 30 patients in each group.The conventional group of patients were performed infrared radiation therapy for the waist, and the combined treatment group of patients received exercise therapy combined with arthrolysis.The outcomes of the two groups were compared, including the modified Japanese orthopaedic association(M-JOA), visual analogue scale(VAS), and physiological curvature before and after 2 courses of treatment.Results:After treatment, M-JOA [(13.03±2.17)points]in the combined treatment group was lower than that in the conventional treatment group [(14.72±3.05)points], and the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05). After treatment, the physiological curvature of both groups was significantly higher than that before treatment, and the combined treatment group [(30.68±5.13)°]was higher than that of the conventional treatment group [(26.62±5.20)°], and the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05). The effective rate of the combined treatment group(96.7%)was higher than that of the conventional treatment group (76.7%), and the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05). Conclusion:Exercise therapy combined with arthrolysis is effective in the treatment of patients with lumbago, and can also effectively improve their pain state and physiological curvature, which is worthy of promotion.
