Abstract： Objective To investigate the surgical treatment of primary liver cancer associated with por-tal hypertension(PHT). Methods The clinical data of 128 with primary liver cancer associated with PHT sur-gically treated in our hospital from October 1993 to October 2008 were retrospectively analyzed. Results They received hepatectomy ,hepatectomy + paraesophagogastric devaseula-rization, hepatectomy + splenectomy, hepa-teetomy + ligation of splenic artery ,hepatic carcinoma radiofrequency ablation + paraesophagogastric devascula-rization or splenectomy. Conclusion The exact therapeutic strategy should be used according to the concrete situations of primary liver cancer associated with PHT.
