Abstract: In recent years, the incidence of skin neoplasms has been increasing year by year.Environmental factors and genetic susceptibility are considered to be key pathogenic factors of skin neoplasms.Gene mutations are closely related to the occurrence and development of skin neoplasms, which have provided clues to the pathogenesis of skin neoplasms.Numerous novel mutant genes have been found in some skin neoplasms such as malignant melanoma, skin squamous cell carcinoma and skin basal cell carcinoma. As an efficient platform for screening susceptibility genes, exome sequencing has advantages of deep coverage and high accuracy, can detect pathogenic genes and novel candidate genes in skin neoplasms and other diseases, and is of great significance for early diagnosis, treatment and predilection of prognosis of skin neoplasms.
