Impact of acne and related factors on the quality of life of patients

Abstract： New medical model advocates that in the treatment of acne vulgaris, dermatologists should take the type and severity of acne as well as the quality of life (Qol) of patients into consideration. In recent years, many investigations using different instruments have demonstrated that acne has an impressive impact on the Qol of patients, and this impact varies with patients' age and sex. Thus, it's necessary for dermatologists to carry out an individualized evaluation on the Qol in patients with acne before selecting an optimal treatment.
