Abstract： Objective To study the diagnosis and microsurgical teatment of medulla oblongatal hemanagioblastom.Methods The clinical data of 16 patients of medulla oblongatal hemanagioblastom were collected.Results The tumors of all patients were totally removed.Follow - up study showed that the neurological status of 13 patient were improved.2 patients died from lung infection respectively after 2 and 16 months postoperatively.Conclusions Medulla oblongata hemanagioblastom is rare and relatively benign tumor.The active microsurgical treatment could get a good outcome.
