Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of skull bone(PLSB).Method Three cases of primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of skull bone were treated in our hospital between Mar.2008 and Aug.2009.The clinical characteristics and outcomes of them were reviewed. Results 2 patients were admitted for exophthalmos, and 1 patient for scalp mass. The preoperative imagings varied according to different patients. All of them were misdiagnosised before operation. They received biopsy or subtotal resection of tumors, and followed by chemotherapy. All patients were followed-up,and two of them were stable, and 1 patient dead of lymphocytic leukemia. Conclusions PLSBs are rare lesions contrast to primary central nervous system lymphoma.PLSBs can be divided into 2 groups according to the location of the lesions.Symptoms and admission age are different in these two series.Misdiagnosis is more frequent for complicated neuroimagings.Resection combined with chemotherapy and radiotherapy are recommended for its treatment.High dose of methotrexate is verified to be effective. This lesion has an uncertain prognosis.
