Abstract: One patient with congenital absence of ovary was successfully treated by ovary allotransplantation. For more than one year of follow-up,the blood circulation of the grafted ovary has been keeping normal by the examination of colour Doppler ultrasonoscope. The patient recovered menstrual cycle. The levels of the gonadotrophin and estrogen became nomal 3 monthes after grafting. The artery and vein of the ovary were anatomosed to the inferior epigastric ones of the recipient. It is suggested the blood type and HLA matching and immunosuppressive treatment are the keys for successful transplantation.
