Abstract: Objective To understand the status of anti-infective drugs imported in the past three years at Beijing port.Methods The quantity and variety of anti-infective drugs which were imported from November 1,2008 to October 31,2011 at Beijing port were analyzed.Results The total batches of drugs imported by the Beijing port were 3995 from November 1,2008 to October 31,2009,of which imported anti-infective drugs were 877 batches;the total batches of imported drugs were 3756 from November 1,2009 to October 31,2010,including 1157 batches of imported anti-infective drugs;the total batches of imported drugs were 3806 from November 1,2010 to October 31,2011,including 1182 batches of imported anti-infective drugs.The quantity of imported antiinfective drugs increased year by year but species was single,quinolone and cephalosporin drugs accounted the largest proportion of anti-infective drugs.Conclusion The quantity of imported anti-infective drugs is closely related to the development of pharmaceutical market industry and government policies.
