Abstract： Objective To study the efficacy and safety of maixuekang capsule for unstable angina.Methods A total of 60 cases of unstable angina patients were randomly divided into 2 groups:the control group and the observation group.Patients in control group were treated with isosorbide mononitrate sustained release tablets and aspirin enteric-coated tablets;patients in observation group were treated with maixuekang capsule based on the treatment of the control group. The angina attack,electrocardiogram and safety of two groups before and after treatment were recorded.Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 93.3％ (28/30),while in the control group the rate was 80.0％ (24/30 )and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05 ).The effective rate of electro cardiogram improvement in observation group was higher than that in control group [83.3％(25/30)vs 66.7％ (20/30),P＜0.05].After treatment,the security in two groups had no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05 ).Conclusion Maixuekang capsule combined with western medicine in the treatment of unstable angina is safe and effective.
