Abstract： Objective To study the status of children's medication and to analyze the problems in order to provide important information of children's drug problems and children's drug safety.Methods Children's hospital of Shanxi was the research site.Instructions of medication for children were studied.Database was established by epidata 3.02 software and data was analyzed with SPSS 13.0 software.Pearson x2 test and Fisher precise probabilistic method were used to deduce relevant index.Results There were only 12 percent of medicines used specially for children,furthermore,they were mainly Chinese patent medicine.Not enough information was described in items of usage-dosage,children's medication and pharmacokinetics.Conclusion There is limited medicine and information developed specially for children.
