Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical and pathological characteristics of acinic cell carcinoma and to discuss its treatment and prognosis. Methods Acinic cell carcinoma (ACC) diagnosed in beijing chaoyang Hospital was retrospectively analyzed and the literature published was reviewed. Results ACC is a slow growing,low-grade malignancy of the salivary glands. Most cases occur in the parotid, but a few cases affecting the minor salivary glands have also been described, cases reported in the palate glands were more than in the labial glands. Generally think that ACC can occur at any age, but most cases occur in the elderly people and show a female predilection. The clinical feature of ACC were observed as following:indolent tumor, slow growing, long course of disease,like pleomorphic adenoma, lymp node metastasis was rare. Conclusion ACC in the labial glands is extremely rare. It's should be identified with basal cell adenoma and pleomorphic adenoma.
