Abstract: Objective Through health examination for eldly retired employees from a mine factory, to find the incidence situation of cardio-cerebral vascular diseases and the relevant risk factors, and actively intervene in prevention and treatment. Methods Totally 3916 cases received health examination. They were divided into risk group and non-risk group according to risk factors of cardio-cerebml vascular diseases. Then observed the progress state of the diseases year after year, and compared with that of the subgroup(25988 cases) aged less than 50 years old who took the health examination in the same period. Results The incidence of cardio-cerebral vascular diseases in the group older than 50 years was significantly greater than that in the group younger than 50 years (P < 0.01). The incidence of cardio-cerebral vascular diseases in the risk group was higher than that in non-risk group (P <0.01). Conclusion The incidence of cardio-cerebral vascular diseses have increased year by year, and the age of onset is younger.
