Abstract: Objective To determinate eighteen inorganic elements and to study the pharmacologic sub-stance basis in Rhizoma Anemarrhenae. Methods The atomic fluorescence spectroscopy, inductively coupled plas-ma atomic emission spectrometry inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry were adopted to determine the con-tents of inorganic elements. Results There were higher contents of Fe, St, Zn, Mn, Cu, Cr, and Ni. Conclusion The inorganic elements are closely related to its pharmacology in Rhizoma Anemarrhenae. The effective form and mechanism of elements need further study.
