Abstract： Objective To observe cephalosporins use between 2005 and 2007. Methods The cephalosporins used from 2005 to 2007 were statistically analyzed. Results During the 3 years, the cephalosporins use increased with an annual rate of-2.09%. The third generation cephalosporins use is the largest with the lowest increasing rate. The second generation cepbalosporins's DDDs showed the highest increase rate with the highest DDDc's decrease rate. The fourth generation cephalosporins had the 2nd DDDs increase rate. The DDDc of each generation decreased. Conclusion The cephalosporins use reasonable in Zhongshan Hospital.
