Abstract: Objective To investigate the feasibility of using diaphragm-type stethoscope to compress and repair iatrogenic femoral artery pseudo-aneurysm (IFAP) after percutancous coronary interventional. Methods Twelve patients with IFAP after percutaneous coronury interventional procedures were included. Results Eleven of twelve patients with IFAP were treated successfully with this procedure. None of them had any postoperative complication. Conclusion Compressing and repairing IFAP with stethoscope monitoring is a simple, safe, effective, save time, less expansive method for the treatment of IFAP after percutaneons coronary interventional procedures and can be considered as the first choice.
